The Tincture of Horsetail (Equisetum Arvense) contains the same active ingredients as the dried herb Horsetail. In modern herbal medicine, Horsetail is considered to be hemostatic, antiseptic, a tissue tonic, and a diuretic. Due to its high content of silica dioxide and trace minerals (potassium, manganese, sulfur, and magnesium), it is believed to have a positive effect in cases of inflammatory or enlarged prostate, cystitis, and urinary tract stones. Its hemostatic (astringent) action is thought to be beneficial in cases of stomach ulcers. Its high silica content has led many researchers to consider it helpful in cases of arteriosclerosis. In general, Horsetail is described in many texts as a “mineral storehouse” and is generally regarded as a particularly important herb for invigorating weakened organisms. The tincture is created by steeping herbs in an alcoholic solution (grapa), usually over a period of a few weeks. During this, the active ingredients of the herbs dissolve in the alcoholic solution. Δοσολογία :

15-20 drops in water twice a day for a month. Take a break for ten days and repeat. Shake before use.
