Description

The Lemon Balm essential oil is ideal for oily skin as it has antiseptic and antibacterial properties. It helps reduce skin swelling, especially in the morning, as well as skin irritation.

The Lemon Balm essential oil is ideal for headaches or colds accompanied by a headache. It lowers blood pressure, is an emmenagogue, and helps with dysmenorrhea and menstrual pain.

It provides mental clarity and is suitable for relieving stress, migraines, anger, insomnia, nervous tension, and depression. It helps normalize digestion, reduce colic, and relieve nausea.

Also, as an antidepressant, antiseptic, bactericidal, calming, sedative, against high blood pressure and irritability, it soothes the mind and benefits the cardiovascular system.

Warning: For external use only.

Essential oils are natural, effective, and particularly pleasant to use. Their therapeutic properties can benefit anyone. However, they should be treated as medicines with caution and care, following the recommended dosage.

  • Essential oils should not be used for internal consumption (except for oregano, thyme, basil, and mint essential oils) and without a doctor’s advice.
  • During pregnancy, especially in the first 5 months of gestation.
  • By individuals suffering from hypertension.
  • By individuals with severe nervous disorders.
  • On infants (children under one year old).

Essential oils should be used with caution in the following cases:

  • Some essential oils (e.g., Bergamot, Neroli, Lemon, etc.) can cause skin photosensitivity to UV rays. Generally, we recommend avoiding exposure to strong sunlight for 4 hours after aromatherapy (massage).
  • Essential oils should be used diluted in a base (e.g., carrier oil) when applied to the skin. We recommend not using undiluted essential oils on the skin.
  • “Vulnerable” age groups (children and people over 60) should use essential oils in reduced proportions.
