Mallow: Properties
The leaves of mallow are considered emollients. They soothe irritation of the mucous membranes and are therefore recommended for bronchitis, dry cough and throat inflammations.
Mallow is considered to help relieve diseases of the digestive and urinary tract (cases of colic, cystitis, gastritis) and intestinal disorders.
