The lithograph of Agios Paisiosis an exact copy of the Byzantine technique, crafted with the best possible quality to the original, by a hagiographer of the Athonian School of Mount Athos. It is hand finished and coated with pure beeswax according to the criteria of the Macedonian School of Mount Athos.

Who is Saint Paisios?

Saint Paisios the Saint (born Arsenios Eznepidis) became widely known for his life and work. After his death, the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew began the process of his canonization and was ranked a Saint of the Orthodox Church by the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople on January 13, 2015. The Greek Orthodox Church celebrates his memory on July 12. p>

He lived the last years of his life in the Panagouda cell which he found abandoned. There he worked hard with multitudes of people who visited him offering spiritual help with his prayers and teachings. At the same time, he continued the intense ascetic life, to the point of taking little rest each day. But he continued to receive and try to help visitors. He also used to make “stamped” icons as handicrafts which he gave to visitors as a blessing.
