Pyrography is an art form that attracts many artists due to the impressive results that can be achieved. It is a painting technique that uses two elements of nature: wood and fire. With patience and attention to detail, artists create pyrographic images, paying close attention to any mistakes, as these cannot be corrected as easily as with pencil.

Pyrography is also highly appreciated by iconographers. Many of them, even using wood from the Garden of the Virgin, burn the wood on which they will imprint sacred figures.
