Description

Constantinato for the neck made of gold-plated silver

Constantinato is an authentic monastic handiwork. It stands out for its embossed details.
Made by Orthodox monks, with pure silver and gilded outline will impress you with the very detailed work that has been done during its construction.

Known for the special beauty of their masterpieces, the monks accompany their work with fervent prayers and blessings. That’s why all the handicrafts they make are blessed.

What is Konstantinato?

The history of this special jewel began when Saint Helena found the Holy Cross and ordered it to be cut. The sacred sawdust was mixed with precious metals resulting in the first Constantinata. Constantinata are coins of various origins that have as their main representation the Holy Cross, between Constantine the Great and his mother Saint Helena.

Nowadays we usually offer Constantinato at the birth or baptism of a child but also to loved ones as an amulet. These gold coins are now made of various materials and are offered with a simple pin or worn around the neck with a chain.
