Description
Wood Carved Hanging Amulet with Saint Paul
A wonderful wood-carved amulet from Mount Athos with a relief representation of Saint Paul.
It is a tasteful & handy tool made in linden or cherry wood, by monks with great skill in woodworking. In a relatively small size and with a well-thought-out construction (thanks to the cord it has at the top), it can be placed anywhere in the house, in the car or even in a bag, so that the believer feels that he always has the Grace and protection of the Saint.
The exact name of the representation is written on the back.
Saint Paul
Saint Paul born as Saul (Saul, see Acts 7:58, 8:3 etc.), (Tarsus, Cilicia early 1st century (5-15 AD) – Rome 66-68 AD), was an Apostle and author of about half the books of the New Testament. He was one of the most important personalities of the early era of Christianity, a supporter of the universality of the Teaching of Jesus. For this reason, he received the name “Apostle of the nations”.
According to testimonies that probably have Paul himself as his source, he became a Christian not by the persuasion of some Apostle or preacher of the new faith, but directly by Christ himself who called him to the evangelical work and to the apostolic office.
