Properties:

Verbasco has been known for thousands of years for its effective properties in respiratory disorders. Dioscorides called this plant “the black” (a term in physics that describes an ideal body that absorbs all the light that falls on it). The ancient Greeks used the root of the plant in cases of respiratory problems, diarrhea, cramping, eye inflammation and as healing. Pliny (77 AD) states that “beasts who suffer not only from coughing, but also from broken ribs, are relieved if they drink a little of this herb.”

Verbasco tincture is mainly used to treat hoarseness, bronchitis, asthma and whooping cough. Reduces muscle spasms that cause intense coughing. It helps treat laryngitis, as well as the influenza virus, due to its antibacterial action. It tones and cleanses the eyes and soothes inflammation of the eyelids. It is also a diuretic and helps treat urinary tract inflammations, neutralizing irritations caused by uric acid. In homeopathy, it is used in cases of children who continue to have nocturnal enuresis at an older age.

What is Tincture:

The tincture is created by soaking herbs in an alcoholic solution (grappa), usually for a period of a few weeks. During this time, the active ingredients of the herbs are dissolved in the alcoholic solution. This process results in the tincture retaining to the fullest all the beneficial properties of the herbs.

Herbal drops are highly concentrated herbal extracts in a natural alcoholic solution. They retain all their active ingredients and are completely natural.

dosage:

15-20 drops in water twice a day for a month. Pause for ten days and repeat. Shake before use.

Precautions:

Avoid use by children under 12 years of age during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Ask your doctor before using if you have a problem.
