The Tincture of Fenugreek (Trigonella Foenum-graecum) comes from the processing of the plant of the same name, which is also known by various other names such as trigoniskos, tili, dtililina, dontilina, strofyli, moshositro, and tsimeni. It has the same properties as the herb Fenugreek.

In modern herbal medicine, Fenugreek is used for a variety of conditions. Fenugreek contains, in addition to steroidal saponins (mainly diosgenin), 30% mucilaginous substances (polysaccharide galactomannan), 20% proteins, choline, alkaloids, 8% oils, calcium, potassium, iron, and vitamins A, B, and C. The herb acts as an expectorant, emollient, tonic, and galactagogue. It is useful for local treatment and reducing inflammation in conditions such as wounds, irritated sores, fistulas, and tumors. Fenugreek acts as a laxative, lubricates the intestine, and reduces fever. It also helps in lowering cholesterol and blood sugar levels and in cases of asthma and sinusitis by reducing mucus. Fenugreek promotes milk production in breastfeeding mothers. It is considered good for the eyes and for lung inflammations and disorders.

The tincture is created by steeping herbs in an alcoholic solution (grapa), usually over a period of a few weeks. During this, the active ingredients of the herbs dissolve in the alcoholic solution. This specific process results in the tincture retaining all the beneficial properties of the herbs to the fullest.

Herbal drops are highly concentrated herbal extracts in a natural alcoholic solution. They retain all their active ingredients and are completely natural.

Δοσολογία:

15-20 drops in water twice a day for a month. Take a break for ten days and repeat. Shake before use.
