St. John’s wort tincture contains the same active ingredients as dried herb St. John’s wort. The character of this herb is bittersweet, cold and drying. St. John’s wort has been known since antiquity to heal wounds, relieve pain (analgesic), soften inflammation (anti-inflammatory) and act effectively in cases where there are problems in the nervous system as a sedative and tonic to restore the nervous system, such as neuralgia and injuries.
