Euphrasia (Euphrasia Officinalis) Tincture contains the same active ingredients as the dried Euphrasia herb. In modern herbal medicine, Euphrasia is primarily used for eye disorders and infections (externally) and for addressing respiratory issues (internally).

In the first case, Euphrasia is used either as a compress or as an eye wash. It is particularly effective for eye infections, conjunctivitis, eye irritation accompanied by discharge (acidic, corrosive tears), blepharitis, light sensitivity, and cataracts. The anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties of Euphrasia are primarily due to the phenolic-carboxylic acids it contains.

The internal use of Euphrasia (as an herbal tea) is considered to effectively relieve nasal congestion, sinusitis, and generally has a positive effect on all congestive conditions of the respiratory system (including those caused by allergies). Euphrasia can also be used as a mouthwash (rinse or gargle) for inflammation and infections of the mouth and throat.

The tincture is created by steeping herbs in an alcoholic solution (grapa), usually over a period of a few weeks. During this, the active ingredients of the herbs dissolve in the alcoholic solution. This specific process results in the tincture retaining all the beneficial properties of the herbs to the fullest.

Herbal drops are highly concentrated herbal extracts in a natural alcoholic solution. They retain all their active ingredients and are completely natural.

Δοσολογία:

15-20 drops in water twice a day for a month. Take a break for ten days and repeat. Shake before use.
