Properties:

Euphrasia Officinalis tincture contains the same active ingredients as the dried herb Euphrazia. In modern herbal medicine, Euphrazia is mainly used for eye disorders and infections (externally) and for treating respiratory problems (internally).

In the first case, Euphrazia is used either as a compress or as an eye wash. It is particularly effective in cases of eye infections, conjunctivitis, stinging eyes accompanied by secretions (acidic, burning lacrimation), blepharitis, hypersensitivity to light and cataracts. The anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties of Euphrazia are mainly due to the phenol-carboxylic acids it contains.

The internal use of Euphrazia (drink) is considered to effectively relieve runny nose, sinusitis and generally has a positive effect on all congestive conditions of the respiratory system (including those due to allergies). Euphrazia can also be used as a mouthwash (wash or gargle) for inflammation and infections of the mouth and throat.

What is Tincture:

The tincture is created by soaking herbs in an alcoholic solution (grappa), usually for a period of a few weeks. During this time, the active ingredients of the herbs are dissolved in the alcoholic solution. This process results in the tincture retaining to the fullest all the beneficial properties of the herbs.

Herbal drops are highly concentrated herbal extracts in a natural alcoholic solution. They retain all their active ingredients and are completely natural.

dosage:

15-20 drops in water twice a day for a month. Pause for ten days and repeat. Shake before use.
