Description

Properties:

The Yarrow Tincture (Achillea millefolium) contains the same active ingredients as the dried Yarrow herb. In modern herbal medicine, Yarrow is used in three different cases. The first case involves the treatment of the flu, colds, and fever. Yarrow is a strong diaphoretic, meaning that a warm beverage made from it induces therapeutic sweating, which helps detoxify the body.

The plant pigments and alkaloids (achilleine) contained in Yarrow have the ability to lower blood pressure, which is why the herb is recommended in cases of hypertension. The coumarins and salicylic acid (a component of aspirin) found in Yarrow prevent blood clot formation and promote overall good circulation by expanding the peripheral arteries.

Finally, Yarrow is an effective healing herb. Its name and reputation have originated from this property – according to mythology, the herb was given to Achilles by the centaur Chiron. Achilles used it to tend to the wounds of his warriors in the Trojan War. The internal use of Yarrow helps combat bleeding from hemorrhoids, menorrhagia, and generally all types of internal bleeding. The antiseptic properties of the herb (due to its content of azulene and apigenin) are also significant in cases of bleeding.

What is a Tincture:

The tincture is created by steeping herbs in an alcoholic solution, usually for a period of a few weeks. During this, the active ingredients of the herbs dissolve in the alcoholic solution. This specific process results in the tincture retaining all the beneficial properties of the herbs to the fullest.

Herbal drops are highly concentrated herbal extracts in a natural alcoholic solution. They retain all their active ingredients and are completely natural.

Dosage:

15-20 drops in water twice a day for a month. Take a break for ten days and repeat. Shake before use.

Precautions:

Avoid use by children under 12 years of age, during pregnancy, breastfeeding and medication.

Ingredients:

Water, ethyl alcohol, naturally cultivated yarrow.
