The Tincture of Alchemilla (Alchemila Alpina) contains the same active ingredients as the dried herb Alchemilla. Alchemilla is mainly used for the treatment of menstrual disorders and pains. As an emmenagogue, it regulates the normal flow of blood in cases where the flow is lower than normal (amenorrhea) or in cases where the flow is particularly high (menorrhagia). Essentially, Alchemilla works towards restoring the menstrual flow to normal levels. This “balancing” effect has been proven to significantly contribute to the reduction of menstrual pain. Additionally, the salicylic acids it contains have soothing properties, providing relief from “cramps” that may accompany menstrual disturbances. Alchemilla is also considered suitable for alleviating symptoms of menopause.

The tincture is created by steeping herbs in an alcoholic solution (grapa), usually over a period of a few weeks. During this, the active ingredients of the herbs dissolve in the alcoholic solution. This specific process results in the tincture retaining all the beneficial properties of the herbs to the fullest.

Herbal drops are highly concentrated herbal extracts in a natural alcoholic solution. They retain all their active ingredients and are completely natural.

Δοσολογία:

15-20 drops in water twice a day for a month. Take a break for ten days and repeat. Shake before use.
