It comes from the centuries-old olive groves and the sedge of Agia Anna Minor, in the so-called desert of Mount Athos, which is a rocky area where its unique climate combined with the passion of the monks produce this rare and valuable St. John’s wort.

St. John’s Wort Oil: Beneficial properties

St. John’s Wort Oil has been recognized since antiquity until today for its many beneficial properties. It is made from sedge which is one of the most important flowers of the Greek fauna. It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, astringent and healing properties. It is recommended for healing wounds, bruises and burns of the first degree.

It helps significantly with stomachache, sourness, heartburn, constipation, headache, hemorrhoids, chills, burns, rashes, skin problems, pimples, eczema, psoriasis, varicose veins, calluses and even insomnia.

St. John’s Wort Oil: Use

St. John’s wort oil is used for spreading or lightly rubbing the part that hurts. We can even saturate a gauze with St. John’s wort oil and apply topical dressings.

It is great for relaxing massage.

For spreads with St. John’s Wort Oil:

We clean the area where the problem exists. Then spread a sufficient amount of St. John’s Wort Oil and leave it for half to an hour to be absorbed. It is used daily, two to three times a day, until the problem is eliminated.

It is advisable not to use St. John’s Wort Oil without consulting a doctor, especially by people with hypertension.

Avoid sun exposure after use.

Store in a cool and shady place.
