Description

Dill has been known since ancient times for its aromatic and medicinal properties. It contains 4% essential oil and is rich in vitamins A, C, and the B-complex, as well as iron, manganese, abundant potassium, phosphorus, and calcium. It also contains 10-20% vegetable oil and proteins.

Properties

Preparation – Dosage

Infusion

We lightly crush 1-2 teaspoons of seeds and add them to a cup of boiling water. Let them steep for 10-15 minutes. For the treatment of bloating, drink one cup before meals.

For indigestion

Eat raw dill in your salads. Additionally, boil 2 teaspoons of seeds in 1 liter of water for about 15 minutes and drink a cup before meals. This is helpful for fatigue, obesity, and cramps. For treatment Prepare an infusion from the seeds of the plant by adding 5-10 grams to 1 liter of water and drink 1 cup of the tea per day.

Decoction

We add 1 teaspoon of the herb to a cup of water and let it boil for about 10 minutes. Strain and drink it either plain or with a little honey.

Precautions

The decoction made from fennel seeds should be avoided by pregnant women.

Dill is contraindicated for people who suffer from low blood pressure.
