The fennel essential oil has strong antiseptic and toning properties for the skin. It can be used in oral hygiene products as well as products for combating cellulite. In aromatherapy, it promotes relaxation and is used for rheumatism, arthritis, bronchitis, as a nerve tonic, and for stress reduction.

Essential oils are natural, effective, and highly pleasant to use. Their therapeutic properties can benefit everyone. However, they should be treated like medicine with caution and attention, following the recommended dosage.

• Essential oils should not be used for ingestion (except for oregano, thyme, basil, and mint essential oils) and without a doctor’s advice.
• During pregnancy, especially during the first 5 months of gestation.
• By individuals who suffer from hypertension.
• By individuals with severe nervous disorders.
• On infants (children under one year old).

Essential oils should be used with caution in the following cases:

• Some essential oils (e.g., Bergamot, Neroli, Lemon, etc.) may cause skin photosensitivity to UV rays. We generally advise avoiding exposure to direct sunlight for 4 hours after aromatherapy (massage).
• Essential oils should be used diluted in a base (e.g., carrier oil) when applied to the skin. We recommend not using undiluted essential oils on the skin.
• “Vulnerable” age groups (children and individuals over 60) should use essential oils in reduced proportions.
