Description

The essential oil of Mandarin (Citrus Reticulata) is obtained by cold pressing the peel of the mandarin and has a sweet, citrusy aroma.

Properties: It has antiseptic, antispasmodic, detoxifying, and calming properties. It is ideal for treating stretch marks and is used with massage oil to enhance blood circulation and reduce fluid retention.
Mandarin is also very beneficial for facial care. It has anti-wrinkle action and helps fight acne and balance oily skin.

In combination with massage oil, it relieves muscle pain, and with its sweet aroma, it soothes and relaxes the nervous system, eliminates stress, and promotes restful sleep.

Warning: It is phototoxic (like all citrus oils), so it is best to avoid using it before sun exposure.

For external use only.

Essential oils are natural, effective, and particularly pleasant to use. Their therapeutic properties can benefit everyone. However, they should be treated like medicines with care and caution, following the recommended dosage.

  • Essential oils should not be used for ingestion (except for oregano, thyme, basil, and peppermint essential oils) and without a doctor’s advice
  • During pregnancy, particularly in the first 5 months of gestation.
  • By people who suffer from hypertension.
  • By people with serious neurological disorders.
  • On infants (children up to one year old).

Essential oils should be used with caution in the following cases:

  • Some essential oils (e.g., Bergamot, Orange, Lemon, etc.) can cause skin photosensitivity to ultraviolet rays from the sun. Generally, we advise avoiding intense sun exposure for 4 hours after aromatherapy (massage).
  • Essential oils should be used diluted in a base (e.g., carrier oil) when applied to the skin. We recommend not using undiluted essential oils on the skin.
  • “Vulnerable” age groups (children and people over 60) should use essential oils in reduced proportions.
