Lemon essential oil is a completely natural product. It is prepared using a monastic recipe to preserve all its valuable ingredients intact. It has a fresh, pleasant, distinct, and invigorating aroma that creates a cheerful atmosphere of freshness and cleanliness.

Lemon Essential Oil: Properties

It has antiseptic properties, balances the nervous system, and revitalizes the body.

Its high vitamin content makes it an excellent remedy for the immune system as it increases white blood cells and improves blood circulation.

It effectively helps with mental fatigue, dizziness, stress, and insomnia. It rejuvenates the mind, enhances concentration, and creates an optimistic mood.

It is an ideal cleaner and highly effective against bacteria and viruses.

Beauty: Ideal for oily skin. It adds volume and shine to fine and dull hair. Lemon oil revitalizes tired, loose, and dull skin. It helps reduce excess oil and treats acne. It works just as effectively on the scalp to combat oiliness and dandruff, acting as a natural tonic for healthy and shiny hair. It is also known for its whitening properties, which is why it is used in cosmetics to reduce the appearance of spots, blackheads, and freckles. Additionally, it strengthens brittle nails.

Body: It is an excellent tonic for the body. It relieves headaches. It helps detoxify the body and improves microcirculation. It also aids in weight loss by creating a feeling of fullness and reducing binge eating and excessive food consumption.

Mind and Spirit: Its strong, fresh scent is invigorating. It clears the mind, improves concentration, and enhances memory.

How to Use

In aromatherapy: To stay focused and improve memory and productivity, add 6 drops of lemon essential oil to a ceramic essential oil diffuser.

For stronger, smoother, and shinier nails: Add 5 drops of lemon essential oil to 10ml of jojoba oil or rose oil and massage into the nails.

Lemon essential oil is an excellent general-purpose cleaner and disinfectant for metal surfaces, dishes, clothes, etc. For washing dishes, especially when handling fish, add one drop to the sponge.

For room deodorizer and general cleaning liquid: Add 10-15 drops to 100ml of water in a spray bottle.

Warning:

Essential oils are natural, effective, and particularly pleasant to use. Their therapeutic properties can benefit anyone. However, they should be treated like medicines with caution and care, following the recommended dosage.

  • Essential oils should not be used for ingestion (except for oregano, thyme, basil, and mint essential oils) and without a doctor’s advice
  • During pregnancy, especially during the first 5 months of gestation.
  • By individuals suffering from hypertension.
  • By individuals with severe neurological disorders.
  • On infants (children up to one year old).

Essential oils should be used with caution in the following cases:

  • Some essential oils (e.g., bergamot, neroli, lemon, etc.) can cause skin photosensitivity to UV rays from the sun. In general, we advise avoiding exposure to intense sunlight for 4 hours after aromatherapy (massage).
  • Essential oils should be used diluted in a base (e.g., carrier oil) when applied to the skin. We recommend not using undiluted essential oils directly on the skin.
  • “Vulnerable” age groups (children and individuals over 60) should use essential oils in reduced ratios.
