Description

Cumin Essential Oil

Cumin essential oil is a completely natural product. It is prepared using a monastic recipe to preserve all its valuable ingredients intact. It is known for its antimicrobial and antispasmodic properties.

Cumin Essential Oil: Properties

Digestive stimulant: Its ability to dissolve gases and its antispasmodic properties make it essential for combating bloating, colitis, and cases of difficult digestion, such as: bloating, aerophagia, colitis, constipation, lack of appetite (in both adults and children), intestinal spasms.

Natural sedative, nerve calming: Cumin essential oil contains molecules with hypotensive, analgesic, relaxing, and sedative properties, and can help with insomnia.

Viral infections: The antiviral properties of cumin essential oil allow it to be used in the treatment of all viral infections: mononucleosis, shingles, herpes, hepatitis, and viral enteritis.

How to Use

Cumin essential oil can be used in many different ways for a wide range of illnesses and symptoms.

Always dilute cumin essential oil in a carrier oil, from 20% to 30%, i.e., 1 drop of cumin essential oil for 4 drops of carrier oil.

Warning:

Essential oils are natural, effective, and particularly pleasant to use. Their therapeutic properties can benefit anyone. However, they should be treated like medicines with caution and care, following the recommended dosage.

  • Essential oils should not be used for ingestion (except for oregano, thyme, basil, and mint essential oils) and without a doctor’s advice
  • During pregnancy, especially during the first 5 months of gestation.
  • By individuals suffering from hypertension.
  • By individuals with severe neurological disorders.
  • On infants (children up to one year old).

Essential oils should be used with caution in the following cases:

  • Some essential oils (e.g., bergamot, neroli, lemon, etc.) can cause skin photosensitivity to UV rays from the sun. In general, we advise avoiding exposure to intense sunlight for 4 hours after aromatherapy (massage).
  • Essential oils should be used diluted in a carrier (e.g., base oil) when applied to the skin. We recommend not using undiluted essential oils directly on the skin.
  • “Vulnerable” age groups (children and individuals over 60) should use essential oils in reduced ratios.
