Description

Cardamom Essential Oil

The essential oil of Cardamom is a completely natural product. It is prepared using a monastic recipe to preserve all its valuable ingredients intact. Cardamom is the third most expensive spice in the world and has a strong, unique flavor with a distinct “warm” and spicy aroma.

Cardamom Essential Oil: Properties

Cardamom essential oil is considered an anxiolytic and is recommended in cases of persistent cough and bronchitis.

It is an ideal ingredient in massage oils for relieving stomach cramps, period pain, and colic.

It has antibacterial, antiseptic, and antispasmodic properties. It is a revitalizing and powerful tonic oil, mainly for nervous tension. It is used to combat physical exhaustion, stress, depression, headaches, and nausea. It also helps with digestive problems and diarrhea.

Precaution:

Essential oils are natural, effective, and particularly pleasant to use. Their therapeutic properties can benefit everyone. However, they should be treated like medicines with caution, following the recommended dosage.

  • Essential oils should not be used for ingestion (except for oregano, thyme, basil, and mint essential oils) and without the advice of a doctor.
  • During pregnancy, especially in the first 5 months of gestation.
  • By people who suffer from hypertension.
  • By individuals with severe neurological disorders.
  • On infants (children under one year old).

Essential oils should be used with care in the following cases:

  • Some essential oils (e.g., Bergamot, Neroli, Lemon, etc.) can cause skin photosensitivity to ultraviolet rays from the sun. In general, we advise avoiding exposure to strong sunlight for 4 hours after aromatherapy (massage).
  • Essential oils should be used diluted in a base (e.g., carrier oil) when coming into contact with the skin. We recommend not using undiluted essential oils on the skin.
  • “Vulnerable” age groups (children and people over 60) should use essential oils in reduced ratios.
