Essential Oil of Fir: Properties

The essential oil of fir has antioxidant and antiseptic properties and can be used as a deodorant or air freshener. In massage products, it helps relieve muscle pain.

Antibacterial, antioxidant, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, expectorant.
It is ideal for respiratory function, successfully combating asthma, bronchitis, cough, colds, and fever, while its healing properties are notable in treating wounds, sores, burns, and cuts. Additionally, it is particularly effective for arthritic pain, back and lower back pain, sports injuries, sprains, and various rheumatic pains. Furthermore, it is used as a disinfectant to protect enclosed spaces from bacteria and viruses, especially during flu outbreaks. On a psychological level, it soothes and revitalizes the body and mind, while combating depression and stress, promoting feelings of calmness and happiness.

Attention! For external use only.

Essential oils are natural, effective, and particularly pleasant to use. Their therapeutic properties can benefit everyone. However, they should be treated like medicines with caution, following the recommended dosage.

  • Essential oils should not be used for ingestion (except for oregano, thyme, basil, and peppermint essential oils) and without a doctor’s advice.
  • During pregnancy, especially during the first 5 months of gestation.
  • By individuals suffering from hypertension.
  • By individuals with severe nervous disorders.
  • On infants (children up to one year old).

Essential oils should be used with caution in the following cases:

  • Some essential oils (e.g., Bergamot, Neroli, Lemon, etc.) can cause skin photosensitivity to ultraviolet rays from the sun. In general, we advise avoiding exposure to strong sunlight for 4 hours after aromatherapy (massage).
  • Essential oils should be used diluted in a carrier oil when coming into contact with the skin. We recommend not using undiluted essential oils on the skin.
  • “Vulnerable” age groups (children and individuals over 60) should use essential oils in reduced proportions.
