Calendula Soap – Agiopavlitiko Methochi of Saint Nicholas – Mount Athos

Description

Traditional soap made from virgin olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, oils and extracts of calendula, nettle, yarrow, common horsetail, and St. John’s Wort. It is antiseptic, ideal for eczema, psoriasis, bruises, and inflammations.

The Agiopavlitiko Methochi of Saint Nicholas, located in the Monoxylitis area, is surrounded by a pine forest, large herb and aromatic plant gardens, and organic vineyards that are cared for with boundless love and dedication, in collaboration with and under the supervision of the American Agricultural School. It is situated in a place with abundant running water, excellent soil composition, and an ideal environmental microclimate. The biodiversity found here is impressive, even to the most discerning nature enthusiast, in a location where olive groves and vineyards have existed since the end of the first millennium. The unique path of the river and its confluence with the sea waves of the “Three Sisters” give life to the rich local flora and fauna of the Methochi.
