Then, there are processed oils, such as refined olive oil and pomace oil, which are blends of different batches with significantly lower nutritional value and quality, but with advantages such as a higher smoke point and greater resistance to oxidation. Finally, there is so-called inferior olive oil (lampante), exclusively for industrial use.
