Mount Athos Morning Tea is a combination of spices and fruits rich in vitamins, mainly vitamin C, which is contained in wild rose.

It has a high content of antioxidants and almost zero content of caffeine & tannins that block the absorption of iron.

Mount Athos Morning Tea – Ingredients & Properties

Wild rose: The fruits of wild rose contain a very high concentration of vitamin C. The decoction is an ideal tonic in cases of respiratory tract infection, sluggishness, anorexia, etc.  It is very beneficial for the digestive system and is considered a very effective antiseptic for eye infections and irritations.

Hibiscus: It acts as a vasodilator, helps with cardiovascular diseases and controls cholesterol levels. Finally, it helps in the treatment of high blood pressure and in cases of liver disorders.

Elderberry: It is rich in vitamins A, B, C, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, amino acids and many phytochemicals. These phytochemicals are found in its flowers and fruit and have strong antiviral and antioxidant activity.

Dosage: 12-15 gr. in 1 liter of water

Boiling: 3-4 minutes at 100 degrees Celsius
