Extra virgin olive oil enriched with rosemary, oregano and garlic that traps all their flavor and aroma in a single drop. It is produced from monovarietal extra virgin olive oil. The fruit of the olive tree is collected from olive groves of Mount Athos from September to November and is differentiated in the way of cultivation, the stage of ripening and the technique of oil extraction to give a special profile.

All herbs are collected by hand from monks of Mount Athos.

Aromatic olive oils give a special taste to your preparations and give you the antioxidant action of the herbs and spices they contain.

Ingredients and Properties of Olive Oil

Olive oil is rich in vitamin E and antioxidants, polyphenols. It is also a rich source of monounsaturated fatty acids (up to 83%), which reduce the risk of heart disease by lowering blood lipids. In fact, even the World Health Organization recommends consuming two tablespoons of olive oil a day to protect the heart.

The protective effect of monounsaturated fatty acids on cholesterol levels is now widely known. In fact, a large percentage of the protective properties of olive oil are attributed to its high content of monounsaturated fatty acids. It has also been found that the phenolic components of olive oil contribute to the prevention and protection against risk factors for cardiovascular diseases, while it has been documented that they have anti-inflammatory and chemoprotective properties. In particular, special mention is made of olive oil oleocanthal, which seems to have strong anti-inflammatory action.
