Mount Athos Forest Honey is collected by monks of Mount Athos as a diaconate. It is packaged by them, with passion and great care and is an authentic monastic product. The Mount Athos fathers, respecting the goods that the Lord has offered us and following only natural processing methods, offer us the pure honey of the forest of excellent quality.

Forest honey has many properties that make it one of the most valuable allies of our health. Rich in minerals and trace elements such as potassium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus and sodium stimulates our body. In addition, it contains vitamins and antioxidants that act protectively while acting soothing and therapeutic in sore throat, stomach upset and flu.

Forest honey has a strong aroma and velvety taste which take us to where the bees collected it, in the forests of Mount Athos. Its color is generally dark and can even be black while it is very viscous.
