Image of Saint Philip on Naturally Aged Wood
Saint Philip was one of the twelve disciples of the Lord. He was from Bethsaida in Galilee, the same place as Andrew and Peter. The Lord Himself called him to be a disciple, and later, Philip brought Nathanael to the Lord.
The naturally aged wood, sourced from a restored Athonite cell, on which the image is crafted, gives it a unique aesthetic and collectible value, while also conveying a piece of its long history beyond the Athonite State.
As the icon is handmade and the wood processing is done by hand, there may be slight variations in the wood, but not in the depiction.
