Saint Paul, born as Saul (Tarsus, Cilicia 5 AD – Rome 64–65 AD), was a Christian Apostle and the author of approximately half of the books in the New Testament. He was one of the most significant figures of the early Christian era, a proponent of the universality of the Teachings of Jesus. For this reason, he received the title “Apostle of the Nations.”

The naturally aged wood, sourced from a restored Athonite cell, on which the image is painted, gives it a unique aesthetic and collectible value, while also conveying a piece of its long history outside the Athonite State.

As the image is handmade and the wood processing is done by hand, there may be slight variations in the wood, but not in the depiction.
