A special handiwork of an Agiorite monk. The image of the Saint with golden painted sand from the shores of the Athonian State.

The Holy Monastery of Panagia tou Kykkos or Kykkos Holy Monastery, is one of the three largest and most historic Holy Monasteries of Cyprus, androa, which belongs to the Church of Cyprus. It is also one of the 5 Stavropigian Monasteries of the Church of Cyprus and its Abbot is the current Metropolitan of Kykkos. In the Monastery there is also the well-known icon of the Virgin Mary of Eleusis (of Kykkos) which shows the Virgin Mary holding the baby from the right side, which comes from Constantinople and according to tradition is said to have been painted by the Evangelist Luke.
