Do not give way to the wicked demon conquer me the oppression of this mortal body. Keep my hand of misery and destitution, and lead me to the way of salvation. Yes, Holy Angel of God, the guardian and protector of my wretched soul and body, always forgive me, what I have grieved you all the days of my life, and what I am sorry for today. Handmade Hagiography: Characteristics
This specific iconography comes from the Agiorite iconographer Hieromonk Grigorios from the Holy Cell of Agia Annis. It is crafted entirely by hand, on a naturally aged piece of wood. The colors used are consistent with the Byzantine tradition, while the work has been crafted according to the style of the Macedonian school, which is followed in the workshop of Hieromonk Grigorios.
This unique hagiography has a background of 22-carat gold leaf, while its surface is covered with pure beeswax, so that the colors remain bright over time.
