This sentence encompasses the whole meaning of life, the whole meaning of the world. The Lord is the only way, the only Truth, the only Source of life and of Eternal Life.

Theosis, which is the purpose of our lives, is the manifestation of God in the pure heart of man, then we have a view of God, we know Him, we immerse ourselves in His love, our nature is completely transformed and we become like Him, we become gods by grace. Man is made in God’s image, God’s image is the God-man Jesus Christ.

Our purpose on earth is to imitate Christ, who is our Role Model, and to become like Him. We imitate Jesus Christ with the power He gives us. He gives us this power through our participation in His Church, in the Divine Liturgy, in the Divine Sacraments, following His commandments.
