A handmade porcelain depicting Saint Marina, crafted entirely by hand.

Saint Marina, whose memory is commemorated on July 17, was born in Antioch in Pisidia and at the age of 15 she confessed to her father that she was a Christian. He, shocked, deleted her from his daughter.
Later she was arrested by the prefect of the area who, seeing her beauty, asked her to deny Christ in order to make her his wife. Agia, who was famous for her faith, refused and then the prefect subjected her to severe torture. At first, he tore at their flesh, but the wounds closed on their own. Then he tried to burn her, but even the fire didn’t hurt her and finally he decapitated her.

In several images, the Saint is shown defeating a demon, who tried to tempt her to stop her prayers during her imprisonment, but was unsuccessful.
