Sandblasting gold printing with Agia Varvara

An amazing gold print with Agia Varvara.

Saint Barbara lived during the reign of Emperor Maximian (286 – 305 AD) and was the daughter of a pagan. Because she was very beautiful, her father locked her up in a tower so that no one could see her. However, even there she was taught Christianity without her father’s knowledge. Her faith was revealed by a chance event, and then her father handed her over to the local ruler, who tortured her. However, Saint Barbara was eventually slaughtered by her own father, who soon after fell dead struck by lightning. The holy relics of the Saint are kept in Italy.
