Description

Gold printing with Sandblasting with Agios Georgios

An amazing gold print with Saint George, the Great Martyr and Trophy-bearer. He was born around 275 AD in Cappadocia, to Christian parents. His father, in fact, died a martyr for Christ when George was ten years old. When he was 18 years old, he joined the Roman army and was quickly promoted to higher offices, and Emperor Diocletian himself held him in high regard.

However, he did not hesitate to confess his faith in front of the emperor, who had begun a struggle for the extermination of the Christians. Diocletian was enraged and imprisoned George, subjecting him to a series of martyrdoms. However, one night while he was imprisoned, Saint George saw in his dream Christ announcing his death and his entry into eternal life. Indeed, the next day Diocletian ordered and cut off his head.
