A magnificent serigraphy in which the Virgin Mary “Sweet Kissing” is depicted with her warm, almond-shaped eyes gazing into the distance. It is as if she is seeing the martyrdom and suffering of her child that will follow. She holds her only son lovingly in her arms. Her posture emphasizes her human side. She tilts her head and her face touches that of her beloved son. The close embrace of the two figures in the image represents the external sign of the sorrow and mourning that the Virgin Mary experienced during the Crucifixion of her son.
