Jesus Christ appears in Orthodox Christian iconography with the epithet Pantokrator. The central dome (dome) of all Byzantine churches is painted with the image of the Almighty Jesus, while in the churches that lack a dome, in the style of the Basilica, the image is painted in the center of the ceiling.

Handmade Hagiography: Characteristics
This specific iconography comes from the Agiorite iconographer Hieromonk Grigorios from the Holy Cell of Agia Annis. It is crafted entirely by hand, on a naturally aged piece of wood. The colors used are consistent with the Byzantine tradition, while the work has been crafted according to the style of the Macedonian school, which is followed in the workshop of Hieromonk Grigorios.
This unique hagiography has a background of 22-carat gold leaf, while its surface is covered with pure beeswax, so that the colors remain bright over time.
