Pyrography is an art that attracts numerous artists due to the impressive results it can achieve. It is a painting technique that utilizes two natural elements: wood and fire. With patience and attention to detail, artists create pyrographic images, being especially cautious of mistakes as they cannot be corrected like pencil drawings.

Pyrography is also highly popular among iconography artists. Many of them, using even wood from the Garden of the Virgin Mary (Mount Athos), burn the wood on which they depict Holy figures.
