What does the monastic neck cross depict?
On the front, it depicts Jesus Christ in bust, a special depiction rarely found on monastic crosses. To the left and right of the Cross are the letters IC XC, while above and below the inscription NI KA. Around the Cross stand out the elaborate monastic motifs worked with special attention to detail by the monk who prepared it.
The back of the cross is particularly impressive with the original geometric shapes on the edges of the silver cross drawing attention. The inscription “IC XC NI KA” is again found around the Cross, which is additionally adorned with gold at the edges.
With its particularly modern and elegant design, it is an ideal choice for a baptismal Cross but also as a gift to loved ones.
