Neck Cross: Features

Instead of a chain, the monastic neck cross hangs from a series of 102 beads. These beads are made of black onyx. Two small metal crosses are inserted between the beads.

At the end, hangs a large imposing and ornate cross, made of silver 925o and gold. On one side is embossed the figure of the Crucified, flanked by figures of saints. Around the cross of the Lord there is the inscription IS XS NI KA. On the other side, the figure of the Virgin Mary is embossed, full-length, framed by the figures of saints.
