Gold plated silver neck amulet

Neck amulet made of pure silver 925o^and gilded outline crafted by a monk of Mount Athos. It can be worn on both sides, while its representations carry amazing details making it great even as a gift. It is part of a large collection of amulets, crosses and Constantinata, which are available from the “Mount Athos Heritage” on behalf of the monks who create them.

On one side of the amulet there is a relief representation of the Virgin Mary as Glykofilousa, a name she took because of the affection and care she shows to the little Jesus, whom she holds tightly in her arms as she bends down to kiss him. On the second side there is a relief representation of Saint George, who defeats the dragon with his spear. Ideal gift for our loved ones who bear the name of the Saint.
