Neck Cross – Woven – 30 Knots – Mount Athos
This neck cross is an authentic monastic handicraft, with a woven cross at the end. It is made by Athonite fathers as part of their diakonia (service), with great care and love. It is notable that prayer handicrafts are the most well-known monastic crafts, in accordance with the tradition of Mount Athos. The monks use the proceeds from prayer ropes and handicrafts to cover their livelihood needs or to fund restoration work in the cells and sketes.
