Carved Wooden Neck Amulet with Saint Paisios, From Mount Athos
A wonderful monastic wood-carved amulet with Saint Paisios.
The wood-carved amulet is made of linden or cherry wood, has a leather cord and the clasp is Silver 925o, by monks with great skill in wood processing. In a relatively small size so that you can wear it and feel that you always have the Grace and protection of the Saints close to you.
On the back of the amulet is written the exact name of the representation.
Saint Paisios,
Saint Paisios the Athonite (born Arsenios Eznepidis, Farasa, Turkey, July 25, 1924 – Holy Monastery of St. John the Theologian in Souroti – Vasilika, Thessaloniki, July 12, 1994) was a Greek Cappadocian monk of the 20th century who became widely known for his monastic life and work. His classification as a saint of the Orthodox Church was carried out by the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople on January 13, 2015 and his memory is celebrated on July 12, the date of his death. In 2017, he was declared patron saint of the military weapon of Transmissions, by decision of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece.
