Keychain in Cross Shape with Knots – Authentic Athonite Handicraft

A beautiful and authentic Athonite handicraft, carefully crafted by the monks of Mount Athos. Apart from its use as a keychain, it also serves as a remarkable cross that can be carried with us, reminding us of the Presence and Grace of Christ. Made using the same technique and thread as prayer ropes, it is entirely composed of knots, with a bead at the top. It is handmade with thread.
The cross-shaped keychains are a new addition to the handicrafts offered by “Athonite Heritage,” for which the Athonite community is renowned. What makes them even more valuable is the prayers of the monks during their creation of these small masterpieces. The Athonite fathers use the proceeds from the sale of their monastic handicrafts for maintenance and restoration work in Cells and Sketes of Mount Athos. With every purchase of a unique handmade craft, each of us contributes to the monks’ effort to preserve the unique beauty of the Athonite State over time.
