Cross-Shaped Keychain with Knots – Authentic Athonite Handicraft

An exquisitely crafted authentic Athonite handicraft, made with great care by the monks of Mount Athos. In addition to serving as a keychain, it is also an amazing cross that we can carry with us to constantly remind us of the Presence and Grace of Christ. Made using the same technique and thread as the prayer ropes, it is composed entirely of knots, with a small silver cross in the center. The cross is handwoven with parachute cord, ensuring great durability, and it is of the Russian type.

These cross-shaped keychains are a new addition to the handicrafts offered by “Athonite Heritage”, for which the Athonite State is renowned. What makes them even more valuable is the monks’ prayers while creating these little masterpieces. The Athonite fathers use the proceeds from the sale of their monastic handicrafts for maintenance and restoration work on the Cells and Sketes of Mount Athos.
