Description

Wooden Hanging Amulet Made from Linden Wood, Featuring Saint Paisios

A beautiful wood-carved amulet from Mount Athos with a relief depiction of Saint Paisios.

This is an elegant and practical handmade item crafted from linden wood by monks skilled in woodworking. Thanks to its relatively small size and well-thought-out design (with a cord at the top), it can be placed anywhere in the home, in the car, or even inside a bag—allowing the faithful to feel the Grace and protection of the Saint always close to them.

At the same time, it can be a very thoughtful gift for the people we love.

Saint Paisios (July 12)

The Venerable Father Paisios of Mount Athos was born to devout parents in Farasa, Cappadocia on July 25, 1924 AD, just days before the Farasians fled their ancestral homeland for Greece. At his baptism, Saint Arsenios of Cappadocia (commemorated on November 10) named him Arsenios, saying characteristically, “so that he may become a monk in my place.” He became widely known for his monastic life and spiritual work. His canonization as a saint of the Orthodox Church was proclaimed by the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople on January 13, 2015. In 2017, he was declared the patron saint of the Hellenic Army Signal Corps by the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece.
