Description

Wooden Pendant Amulet with Saint Anne

A beautiful wooden amulet from Mount Athos, featuring a relief representation of Saint Anne.

This is a tasteful and practical craft made from linden or cherry wood by monks with great skill in wood processing. With a relatively small size and a well-thought-out design (thanks to the cord at the top), it can be placed anywhere in the house, in the car, or even in a bag, allowing the faithful to always feel close to the grace and protection of the Saint.

At the same time, it can be a beautiful gift for the people we love.

The exact name of the representation is written on the back.

Saint Anne (December 9th)

Saint Anne was the mother of the Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ.

According to Orthodox tradition, Saint Anne came from the tribe of Levi. Her father, who was a priest, was named Matthán, and her mother was named Maria. Saint Anne married Joachim in Galilee and was granted the great honor and happiness of having a unique daughter, the mother of the Savior of the world.

After Saint Anne weaned the Theotokos and dedicated her to God, she spent the rest of her life in fasting, prayers, and alms to the poor. Finally, she peacefully delivered her just soul to God, inheriting eternal goods.
