Description

Wooden pendant amulet with Saint Paisios

A wonderful wood-carved amulet from Mount Athos with a relief representation of Saint Paisios

It is an elegant & handy handiwork made in linden or cherry wood, by monks with great skill in wood processing. In a relatively small size and with a well-thought-out construction (thanks to the cord on top), it can be placed anywhere in the house, in the car or even in a bag, so that the believer feels that he always has the Grace and protection of the Saint close to him.

At the same time, it can be a very beautiful gift for the people we love.

On the back is the exact name of the representation.

Saint Paisios (12 July)

Saint Father Paisios of Mount Athos was born to pious parents in Farasa, Cappadocia, on July 25, 1924 AD, a few days before the Pharasians left their homeland for Greece. At his baptism, Saint Arsenios of Cappadocia (November 10), named him Arsenios, “to leave him a monk at his foot”, as he characteristically said. He became widely known for his monastic life and work. His classification as a saint of the Orthodox Church was carried out by the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople on January 13, 2015. In 2017, he was declared patron saint of the military weapon of Transmissions, by decision of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece.
