Holy Belt of the Theotokos (August 31)
According to sacred tradition, the Holy Belt was given by the Virgin Mary to the Apostle Thomas immediately after her Dormition and subsequent Assumption. It is considered a highly sacred relic because it is the only personal item of the Virgin Mary that has been preserved.

The Holy Belt (or Honorable Belt) is located in the Vatopedi Monastery on Mount Athos.
