Description

The Authentic Athonite Charcoal Incense of Elder Porphyrios

It is not just a simple or aromatic charcoal. It is a charcoal incense, prepared in the form of a stick using charcoal from selected woods, natural frankincense, and aromatic oils. The product is ready for incense burning. This unique incense is crafted following the traditional Athonite methods and embodies the deep spiritual essence of Mount Athos. It is ideal for creating a sacred atmosphere for prayer and spiritual practices, offering a pure and uplifting fragrance that enhances the connection to God. Origin: Mount Athos Usage: Ready for use in incense burners for prayer and spiritual rituals.

It is handmade, free from flammable and toxic substances, and does not cause discomfort, as it is a natural product.

Since it does not contain flammable ingredients, it does not ignite like regular charcoal.

That’s why we recommend following the lighting instructions. It burns gently for about half an hour, releasing all the fragrant characteristics of the incense with the same intensity throughout the entire duration. This ensures a consistent and steady fragrance, providing a peaceful and spiritually uplifting atmosphere without the need for constant re-lighting.

Charcoal Incense

The Brief History of It

The Authentic Charcoal Incense of Elder Porphyrios is an old family creation, which decades ago was optimized by Elder, now Saint, Porphyrios and left as a blessing to us. As mentioned by his biographer, the Elder, who also had this ministry at Mount Athos, passed away without revealing the secret of its preparation (Kleitos Ioannidis, “Testimonies and Experiences,” 1993, p. 32). The charcoal incense is already being successfully revived, with growing recognition. Let me know if you need any adjustments or further details!
