Description

New two-volume edition of the Old Testament, the fruit of many years of collaboration between a group of theologians and philologists.

It is the only one that combines the original text of the “Seventeen” with a short interpretation in Modern Greek. It epitomizes our monumental collective work on the twenty-eighth Old Testament (text, interpretation and extensive introductions with commentary on each chapter), which received an award from the Academy of Athens (2002).

Our new version also contains:

The new interpretation was endorsed by letters from the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople and the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece.
